How to Select a Web Host

Some questions here that you might want to keep in mind compiling you own list of hosting providers.
1. How long the web hosting has been in business
2. Is there a phone number?
3. What kind of technical support does the host offer?
4. Free or paid support?
5. Do they offer an uptime guarantee on their hosting?
6. What kind of statistic does the hosting provide?
7. What control panel does the hosting company use?
8. Backups, Uptime, SLA..?
9. At least - what about price?
